We stayed
with our friends, four persons, first in Las Tortugas, in Carriacou 10 days and
then from the 21st to the 31st of December 2007 in
Spice of Life
in Grenada. The villa
Spice of Life
but also the switch from Carriacou to
Grenada
was just perfect in the middle of our three weeks holiday.
Grenada
is much bigger than Carriacou and has much more to explore.
We enjoyed especially the beautiful nature, the rainforest with spectacular hiking
paths. So we enjoyed also in
Spice of Life
the splendid view, but also the big pool to refresh ourselves
after a day out in the sunshine. The house was just perfect to celebrate Christmas.
My friend made cookies and my husband cooked a whole Christmas dinner. The house
was perfectly equipped.
Spice of Life
was just a pefect continuation after the magnificent Villa
Las Tortugas in Carriacou

Just a quick e-mail to
thank you very much - we had a marvellous time at Spice of Life, it is a lovely
villa and we travelled Grenada from end to end and side to side, and found the whole
experience to be fantastic! We will be back....
Nick was most helpful on
arrival and departure, and Bernadette was great.

Our first visit
to the Caribbean and
Grenada
was a good start. The Villa was wonderful - large with stunning views, comfortable
rooms and the air conditioning worked. The meals done by our cook were good and
she was ever willing to learn. By the end of the two weeks, she could even turn
out a mean rice and curry!! The location of the villa was very central, minutes
away from the supermarkets, restaurants and even the airport. The people of
Grenada
were wonderful, friendly and warm. We will come again, and also recommend this beautiful
island to our friends.

As a family, we
are well acquainted with
Grenada
, having lived & worked there for two years. We have returned every year since,
always with a little trepidation that our dreams are about to be broken &
Grenada
will have changed for the worse. Thankfully, yet another holiday has been &
gone & our love for the island remains well & truly intact! As usual, Nick
& Pat ensured that our stay at
Spice of Life
went without a hitch, even helping to extend our stay when our flight plans changed
at the last minute. The villa itself is superb. Very well equipped indeed with great
attention to detail. Really appreciated the games cupboard on our two wet days .
. . unusual for February . . . & also the 'toys' in the pool for all the other
days! Fantastic views & great BBQ area were also fully appreciated in the very
peaceful location. Sharon, the maid, breezed in daily with her lovely smile, looked
after us & made us feel very welcome indeed. A huge THANK YOU to all concerned.
We will be back!!

Tim and I were
very excited about hiring a villa, rather than the usual hotels, and upon arrival
at the
Spice of Life
, we could not have been more impressed, fantastic views, really well equipped,
lovely pool with plenty of room for sunbathing and dining, the terraces all had
great outlooks and provided shade and sun if you want it. Sharon, who looks after
the villa is lovely and nothing is too much trouble for her. We really could not
have asked for a better place and have no hesitation in recommending it, and Nick
especially was so helpful and really made us feel welcome. We only hope it doesn't
become too popular, otherwise we shall never be able to get in there again!
